87-year-old woman stabbed in San Francisco


An 87-year-old woman was stabbed in San Francisco on Thursday evening, police said.

The victim, who has not been identified, reported that family members disappeared two hours before the stabbing, police said in a press release.

Officers said the victim left home around 6:30 pm Thursday “for a walk, but did not return.”

When they learned he was missing, officers undertook a search for him.

She was found at about 11:15 p.m. in the area of ​​Sunset Boulevard and Rivera Street suffering from an elbow injury on her upper body.

Officers and medications rendered help to the victim, who was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
