While Arjun Kapoor previously talked about his relationship with his stepsisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, in a recent interaction the Bollywood actor revealed how he still gets used to being called “bhaiya” by Janhvi and Khushi.
On Sunday, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’s actor was part of The Bollywood Film Club’s session on Clubhouse. In addition to talking about his journey in the industry, Arjun also talked about his personal life. When asked about his comparison to his stepsisters and their being ‘bhaiya’, the actor said it is still very new to him because his sister Anshula addresses him in a different way.
“It sounds very strange. Anshula calls me ‘bhai’ in a very different way. And now this ‘Arjun bhaiya’ is something very new. So when Janhvi says that, it sounds like very new to me,” said the actor from 2 States.
He also added that he never asked them to call him by a specific name. “It comes very naturally to them,” Arjun added.
On Koffee With Karan in 2018, Arjun Kapoor spoke about how Sridevi’s death changed his comparison to Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor. “Everything changes for a moment. I experienced that moment. I don’t wish it on my worst enemy. Me and Anshula did everything out of sheer honesty because we knew we would need someone at that time. We couldn’t have that, but that doesn’t mean Janhvi and Khushi shouldn’t. My mother would have wanted that. If she was alive, she should have been the first to say, “Go there. Don’t hold a grudge. Life is too short,” he had said.
On the work front, Arjun Kapoor recently started shooting for Ek Villain 2. He is also waiting for the release of Bhoot Police on Disney Plus Hotstar. Janhvi Kapoor, meanwhile, is looking forward to the release of Good Luck Jerry.
