As we head towards the weekend, there’s a whole host of entertainment options lined up. RRR, arguably the most highly anticipated movie of the year, will unveil the making video on Thursday. It is called ‘Roar of RRR’ and gives a glimpse of the making of SS Rajamouli film starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR.

Fahadh Faasil continues his OTT reign and is back with Malik streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Malik, written and directed by Mahesh Narayan and produced by Anto Joseph, also has roles for Nimisha Sajayan, Joju George, Vinay Fort, Dileesh Pothan, Jalaja, Salim Kumar, Indrans, Sanal Aman, Dinesh Prabhakar, Divya Prabha and Parvathy Krishna.

Malik revolves around Sulaiman Malik (Fahadh), a charismatic leader who goes to great lengths to help the people of his community and support them to stand up to corrupt forces.

Speaking of the film, Fahadh said in a statement: “Working with a brilliant director like Mahesh Sir is always a pleasure. Malik’s storyline is really special to me and we put our heart and soul into making this film. I hope viewers around the world share their love and appreciation for this film as well.”

Fahadh Faasil and Mahesh Narayanan are teaming up for the third time after Take Off (2017) and CU Soon (2020).

This week is special not only to the fans of Fahadh, but also to anyone who has been patiently waiting for the Netflix teen comedy drama Never Have I Ever Season 2. Created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan starrer Never Have I Ever which was released in 2020 was about a young girl from Sherman Oaks, California dealing with the death of her father. The series stars Poorna Jagannathan, Richa Moorjani, Jaren Lewison and Darren Barnet. The second season will be released on Thursday.
