Mohd Danish of Indian Idol 12 sings for judge Himesh Reshammiya in Dagaa, watch it here

Even before Indian Idol 12 gets the winner, some participants already experience a professional high. After Sawai Bhatt, Judge Himesh Reshammiya has Mohammad Danish sing for him. Titled “Dagaa”, the soulful romantic song is already making a buzz among fans.

Himesh shared the video on his social media page, writing: “Dagaa composed by me from the hit album Himesh ke dil se is out now guys, sung by the super talent @mohd.danish.official, lyrics by the legend @sameeranjaanofficial give it all you love guys.”

An excited Dane also shared a glimpse of the video and thanked Himesh Reshammiya for giving it a shot. “Hello everyone, my first Bollywood song #dagaa has been released on @himeshreshammiyamelodies composed by @realhimesh sir and lyrics @sameeranjaanofficial sir please share,” he wrote.

Fans of Indian Idol 12 reacted mixed to the new song. While Danish fans loved his video, many felt that other contestants deserved a chance instead of him.

A social media user copied the style of the singer-composer as he replied: “Fantastic fun awsm great fantastic fantastic fantastic fantastic fantastic stunning epic historical jai Mata Di let’s rock ️.” One of Mohd’s Danish fans also had some important feedback, as they wrote: “Sir, make a good video for this song. It will definitely go viral with hundreds of reels. It’s an excellent song.”

Last weekend Ashish Kulkarni was kicked out of Indian Idol 12, forcing Pawandeep Rajan Shanmukha Priya, Mohd Danish, Sayli Kamble, Arunita Kanjilal and Nihal Tauro to battle it out for the ultimate title. Speaking to after his elimination, the 27-year-old said it’s a competition and only one can win in the end.

“Honestly, all six are such great singers. And if I really have to lose to someone, I’d pick them. I don’t consider it a defeat because they are very good indeed,” said Ashish, adding that he wants all six to be winners because they are all equally amazing.

The Indian Idol 12 finale will air on Sony TV on August 15.
